We’re super-proud to introduce a new lager into our core beer range.
The story behind the beer... Black Japanese Lager 5.0%
It’s been whirlwind ride for this new brew first introduced mid-year as a pilot brew, it was an instant success with Noosa locals and Taproom regulars. Then brewed as a keg-only release, our venues across South East Queensland snapped up the Black and it sold out fast. The response was so good, our head brewer Lance and his team knew we had to bottle this one straight away. Next it was launched as a Limited Release in cartons of 16, and it was no surprise to sell out within weeks. Now it’s here to stay in our Core Range!
Here’s what Lance Masterton had to say:
“The Black Japanese Lager is both delicate and dark. If only it was as easy to brew as it is to drink. Dark malts give flavours of chocolate and roasted barley perfectly combined with the addition of rice making it crisp and light on the palate and ultra sessionable. It’s a delicious, approachable beer to be enjoyed all year round.”

Craft beer expert Mick Wust from The Crafty Pint said, "The Black Japanese Lager brings together rice and roasted malt to do something special... Dark character but with a clean and dry finish. Super drinkable." Check out The Crafty Pint's full review.

Cheers to our awesome stockists for supporting this exceptional new beer.
drift boss's graphics and one-button gameplay are reminiscent of 80s arcade games. But don't let the simplicity fool you. You'll be drifting so much you might not even have time to close your eyes! To steer your car, you simply left-click to turn right and release the button to turn left. This means there's no easy way to go straight. It's a constant balancing act of drifting mechanics.

This sounds like an exciting success story for a new type of beer! It looks like your Black has become a real hit with locals and regulars. Initially developed as a pilot project, the beer's success in kegs and quickly selling out, and then a limited release in bottles all indicate its desirability.
