Heads of Noosa Declared Open!
Although we’ve been serving beers for close to a month now, last week we held our grand opening to make things official. The support so far has been amazing from the local community and we are so happy to be sharing our beers and our story with you all.
Guests, friends and family from far and wide joined the Heads of Noosa team in our grand opening this week. Noosa MP Sandy Bolton and Mayor Tony Wellington both gave an address and cut the big red ribbon officially declaring the brewery open for business.
“After nearly 9 years in the making it’s such an exciting time for us to be entering into the next stage of our dream. We’re really humbled by the show of support from the local community and the interest from the broader beer industry already.” said Craig.
Lance has been the primary brewer for the business and is thrilled to see people finally enjoying his creations. “We decided to launch with two beers that we’ve been working on for some time. We really wanted to get them right before releasing them and the feedback so far has been great.” Lance said.
Tony Wellington, Mayor of Noosa, had this to say:
“This is a very significant venture for Lance and Craig. Already they are employing more than 20 locals, and that figure will grow as production increases. The brothers are highly committed to product excellence, and so I expect Heads of Noosa to perform extremely well in the burgeoning craft beer market. Heads of Noosa is a great fit with the Noosa brand, and it will also help realise Council’s aim to diversify our local economy.”
The Heads of Noosa Taproom is now open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 11 AM. The first two beers will also available in bottles in the coming weeks. See you here for a cold beer!
